After studying fashion design in Paraguay and working with private clients worldwide, Sonia After studying fashion design in her native country, Paraguay, and working with private clients worldwide, Sonia Garbarino landed the pivotal role of costume/wardrobe designer for a national hit TV show, Baila Conmigo Paraguay (Dancing with the Stars Paraguay). Her designs caught the attention of hundreds of thousands of people in Paraguay, launching her to become one of the top designers in Paraguay. At the height of her career, she moved to the United States to further live out her dream as a fashion designer.

Her meticulous eye for fabric, movement, and female form has afforded her the opportunity to showcase her creative design skills across the globe.

She launched her career in the United States, taking a position at the atelier of the most high-profile dress boutique in Washington, DC, including Signature Dresses, Carine's Bridal Atelier, and Green & Blue Atelier Studio. As designer of her namesake fashion house, Sonia Garbarino has dressed and tailored numerous celebrities, models, brides, and pageant competitors.
